 Deutsche Sprachschule Long Island, Inc. (DSSLI) is a parent initiative founded in 2003 in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. DSSLI provides continuing language education for German learners ("DaF") and German-speaking students of all ages and levels, and provides a network for families to expand their knowledge of German culture and to engage in cross-cultural exchanges.
- We offer classes for toddlers, children, teens, and adults.
- We offer separate classes for German speakers and for those who are learning to speak the language.
- We offer NYS Proficiency Exams and NYS Regency Exams.
- Classes for children meet Saturday afternoons, adult classes weekday nights.
- All classes meet at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York.
