Tuition rates and the per-family registration fee are described below. Please note the discounts available for families enrolling multiple students. DSSLI families may direct any questions to the DSSLI Principal.
Base Tuition: For the full 10-month school year running September through June, the tuition is $450 per student for children and $500 per student for adults. Payment installments and discounts for families and full-year advance payment are available.
Tuition covers the expenses for classroom space/Zoom app licenses, insurance, classroom materials, teachers and some administrative overhead, but not textbooks. Textbooks usually cover 1-2 years of instruction.
Annual Registration Fee: Every family enrolling any number of students in the school will be charged a non-refundable $50 per family registration fee to help the school cover administrative costs related to student enrollment.

Payment Schedule: Students who pay the full year’s tuition by the third Saturday in August each school year will receive an administrative discount. Students may also choose to pay tuition in two equal installments due the third Saturday in August and January (please mark your calendar). A late fee of $10 applies for each overdue payment. Please indicate your preferred payment schedule on the tuition form which you should remit with your first payment.
Free trial classes are available for new prospective students. Please contact the school principal.
Discounts: DSSLI offers discounts for students who pay their annual tuition in full by the first Saturday in October and for families enrolling multiple students from their immediate family.

How to Pay: You may pay tuition online or via check. Please make checks payable to “DSSLI” and give them to the Treasurer, Markus Seeliger, for the Saturday classes or you may also mail them to: DSSLI, P.O. Box 415, East Setauket NY, 11733. You will receive a receipt upon processing. PayPal charges a 3.5% processing fee, which will be added to your total when using online payment.
If, for any reason, you should be unable to follow the payment schedule, please contact the school immediately.
Refunds: After November 1st, tuition is non-refundable except under unusual circumstances.
